The bike felt great with a full Akra system, filter, block off plates and custom tune. Now, the stacks and new tune make it feel the next level alive.
Riding around town in 3rd gear is more fun. I can feel the extra power at high RPMs, and was surprised how much more responsive the bike became across the powerband.
We love the Honda CB Naked bike however they REALLY choked the intake on these generation of CB's more than ever, especially here in the USA.
Our velocity stack kit looks and works VERY different than all the cookie cutter ones you see online! WHY?
1. We actually Design, prototype print, install, dyno test and produce ours 100% IN HOUSE!
2. We don't relay on software to tell us what works best! SW can tell you one thing but the real world is not always the same that is why you have to test in real world on dyno and the road/track!
3. We aimed to keep the midrange!!! Others give up the midrange for top end, fuck that! The midrange is the Honda strong point why would we want to lose that? So we worked HARD to create a design that keeps the freight train linear torque curve while making these CB's actually pull all the way towards redline
Our stacks are shown to improve power throughout the entire RPM range, especially in the midrange to top end, right where these CB's need it! We kept the same power and torque curve as close as possible to the stock set up to ensure you have a smooth power band, however as you can see with our stacks the power does not drop off at the top end! It continues well past 11,000 rpm. This gives you, the rider, the confidence to get on the throttle sooner with a more predictable throttle response as well as a lot more top end power and speed!
