EDR Handheld ECU Device

The EDR Performance handheld for your ECU tuning is a versatile console that allows the owner to store and program multiple files/flashes for one vehicle. These files can be programmed without intervention of tuning specialists, need for a shop. The handheld is provided with an OBDII connector or your bikes specific diagnostic cable required by the vehicle (see drop down options below) If you are unsure what connection you need simply email or call us and we will happily help you determine the proper one. 

On some models like the Aprilia, KTM or BMW we have the handheld option for those not in our area but want our proven & outstanding ecu flash tunes

How does it work? Simple!

Step 1: Purchase your handheld with your ecu tune at the time of checking out. (On the ecu page you will pick the drop down that says YES to "add the EDR handheld"

Step 2: We ship you the handheld, typically same business day. We only ship USPS signature required and to the matching address on file. 

Step 3. You connect your new EDR Handheld to the motorcycle be sure to have a battery connected entire time with a fully charged battery anytime you are reading or writing your ecu (vital!)

Step 4: Once connected the handheld will power on and you will then copy your motorcycles original oem stock file. (this in no way affects the bike, you can ride normally after as well) 

Step 5: Email us that file WITH YOUR ORDER NUMBER. 

Step 6: We create your custom EDR Tuned file and email it back to you

Step 7:  You upload your new EDR Tuned file to your handheld device, follow the instructions to flash your new EDR Tuned file into your motorcycle

Step 8: Go enjoy a much faster smoother motorcycle!!

Remember, If you wish to return the bike back to its original flash tune you can always do that by uploading your original saved oem flash stored in your handheld. Your handheld can also read and clear most CEL if you should encounter one.  

WARNING: ALWAYS Put your bike back to the original stock file before any warranty or recall work to avoid any issue. If you do not do this your handheld may not work and a reset fee of $250 will be necessary to reuse it and your EDR tuned flash.
