-Tips in fitting

The gear arm bolt is restricted by the clutch master cylinder bleed nipple, Remove the three bolts holding the master cylinder and pull the master cylinder away to allow clearance, no oil will be lost. Due to different types of rearsets some may require 1 or 2 M6 washers on the back of the gear linkage rod which mounts to the rearsets also replacing the Hex bolt to a dome bolt seems to also help with the additional clearances with the rod to frame and bolt to swingarm. please be sure to have a competent person fit this kit.

Note: R&G frame protectors interfere with the mounting location of the gear shift support, you would require drilling a hole in the R&G plate in the bolt mounting location to be able to fit the racetorx kit, its a very simple modification for a competent person.

Requirements-

  • Mounting bolts to be torqued up to 10.7NM
  • It is recommended to lock tight supplied bolts
