HRC developed and offered for race use a "HRC Link" for the CBR1000RR. It was offered only to its racing teams on the world level. A new linear link to the suspension that alters the rising rate of the swingarm to make it less progressive. The issue is, the "HRC Link" was very expensive and nearly hard to find one. They were not publicly, offered so EDR decided to offer it ourselves!
The EDR CBR Link A shock linkage kit is 100% bolt on and no spring change is required, however your setup may vary. Our EDR CBR A link can greatly help with anti squat and grip on track. This link keeps the suspension’s rising rate more linear for added traction and a better power delivery. Stock linkage is set up for road use comfort and with a rising rate linkage ratio for passengers it is compromised for the best the bike's chassis has to offer on the race track!
This linkage being completely billet also is aprox 35% stiffer than the oem items, providing even less flex and thus more feel!
Tested and real world tested by several of our CBR track day riders, racers and EDR's own Eric Dorn on his personal SP1 and SP2 version 2017 CBR1000RR's this linkage can greatly improve the handling of your Honda on track! You will notice the rear end a lot more stable as well as better drive grip and that can lead to longer tire life even
This linkage bolts in under 5 mins time using the oem spacers. Comes complete with oem needle bearings and dust seals.
Do not use it on a street bike where a passenger may be added. Race use only.
